It was a banner weekend in Orlando, Florida as Dade County Alumnae was honored with multiple awards during the 2025 Florida and the Bahamas State Cluster. The chapter is the proud recipient of the Alumnae Chapter of the Year Award for 2023-2024 which recognizes chapters that have exhibited innovation and quality execution in the areas of internal development, programmatic delivery, community involvement, chapter management, and member involvement. The chapter was also the winner of the Innovation in Technology & Communications Award which recognizes chapters that go above and beyond to ensure chapter members and the community are informed, educated and empowered by utilizing various modes of technology.
Delta Toniyah Washington was presented with the New Member of the Year Award for 2023-2024. Soror Washington received the award for her work that goes above and beyond for the chapter, the community, and Delta through her personal commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. She is a soror who inspires and motivates others, represents all Delta’s values, and holds the Sorority's brand with the utmost esteem and honor.
Dade County Alumnae continues to execute exemplary programming and events in the Miami-Dade community. Our chapter leadership and members are excited to be recognized by the Southern Region for our public service efforts.
